HOW IT WORKS… BC SCRAP-IT PROGRAM AND

You must first apply and be approved by SCRAP-IT. Go to www.scrapit.ca and apply online today.

As soon as you receive your formal Approval Letter from SCRAP-IT drive your vehicle to Amix. No appointment is necessary.

IMPORTANT TIPS: How to make your vehicle drop off at Amix a smooth and quick process:

1. The registered owner of the vehicle must be the person to bring it to Amix. If the vehicle has 2 or more registered owners, all owners must be present when dropping off the vehicle at Amix.
2. You must bring your email Approval Letter issued by SCRAP-IT . Amix will endorse your Approval Letter and provide you with a copy of a completed Transfer/Tax form.
3. You must bring the original copy (can't be a photocopy) of your Vehicle Registration. If you don't have a Registration copy go to any Auto Broker office and buy an original copy for a small fee.
4. Amix has staff available to remove your license plates.
5. REMINDER: The BC Scrap-It Program only accepts operational and complete vehicles. You must drive the vehicle to Amix and you are not permitted to remove any parts (batteries, tires, etc) off of the vehicle at Amix Salvage.

NOTE: If you are waiting to receive a Scrap-It approval, it is not possible for Amix to receive or store your vehicle for you until you receive approval. Amix accepts no responsibility for any unattended vehicles or damage that may occur.

From Pattullo Bridge

• Heading east over the Pattullo Bridge, take the Scott Road exit
• Take the second set of lights, Old Yale Rd, turn right.
• At the three way stop, South Fraser Rd, turn right.
• This will take you under the Patullo Bridge and to a 3-way stop.
• At the 3 way stop, turn left onto 112th Ave and drive under the train trestle, following around the curve. At this point, 112th Ave becomes Musqueam Drive.
• Continue until you reach Amix Recycling's Yard Office between Gates 6 & 7.
• An attendant will greet you upon arrival and advise you of where to park your vehicle. Please proceed into the office with your paperwork where a staff member will be waiting to process your Scrap It document and Transfer of Ownership paperwork.

From King George Hwy

• Head west toward the Pattullo Bridge on King George Highway
• At the bottom of the hill, there's a Chevron at the lights. Please turn right onto Bridgeview Rd.
• Follow this street thru a set of lights.
• Bridgeview will become 116th Ave. Stay on this road.
• Continue on this road until you reach the 3-way stop which is 112th Ave. (Patullo Bridge is directly in front of you.)
• Turn right on 112th Ave which turns into Musqueam Drive.
• Continue until you reach Amix Recycling's Yard Office between Gates 6 & 7.
• An attendant will greet you upon arrival and advise you of where to park your vehicle. Please proceed into the office with your paperwork where a staff member will be waiting to process your Scrap It document and Transfer of Ownership paperwork.
